For nearly 30 years Ron was a newspaper columnist in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada. He wrote crime stories, court stories, what some call “human interest” stories.
He has written nearly 5,000 columns and features and been nominated four times for a National Newspaper Award, the highest print-journalism award in Canada. He has twice been a recipient.
